The answer will depend on what infrastructure you have in place, and what
sort of alert you want to send.  SNMP Traps, sending an e-mail, beeping a
pager, sending a text message to a cell phone, etc....  You'll have to
find whatever API is needed to talk to your infrastructure, and you probably
want to write a stand-alone app that does a "Hello, World!" alert.  Once you
get to that point, add a call to your code at the appropriate points in the
honeypot code.
