-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 We are pleased to announce the release of version 0.69 of the Honeywall CDROM. http://www.honeynet.org/tools/cdrom/ Some key features of this new version include - - Whitelisting: The ability to identify IP's and networks you want to allow inbound and outbound of your honeynet, but do not want to log or alert on. - - Blacklisting: The ability to identify IP's and networks you want to deny inbound and outbound of your honeynet and do not want to log or alert on. - - Traffic Summary: Improved traffic summary reporting, with the addition of Snort alerts, Snort-Inline alerts, and Suspicious traffic. - - Upload: Improved centralized uploading functionality. - - Fixes: Various bug fixes. Details are included in the ChangeLog on the CDROM. Heads up, it will be serveral months before there is a new release. The CDROM is being migrated to a new OS base (Fedora). This will allow for vastly improved hardware detection, make it much easier to integrate new applications and maintain a current OS base. In addition, a new Admin Interface, Data Analysis Interface, and Customization Interface are being developed. This future release will focus on large, distributed deployments. As always, if you have any bugs or suggestions to report, please do so via our bug server at https://bugs.honeynet.org Thanks! lance -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (Darwin) iD8DBQFBoNKVulH/ZGBJPj4RAnc5AKDPu0AJCKqr6/3yN4mEWgEUcsGOfgCgkmWw zLMT9j2LN+b8DHUiy+NMbAc= =8d23 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
