Deploying Honeypot/Honeycomb

Hi,
I am contemplating the deployment of one or more Honeyd servers.
Having read through various lists it seems that most of us are
running Honeyd. I would like to have some wise advice about which
honeypot/honeycomb should i proceed with. Though not much familiarity
with this setup, but have read that its not very difficult to detect
honeypot installation in a network. So would obviously like to put
some robust system in place. Please suggest.
