Would it be difficult to port Snort_Inline to use the Portscan preprocessor to block attacks? If so, what programming resources do you recommend? -----Original Message----- From: Lance Spitzner [mailto:lance () honeynet org] Sent: Wednesday, July 30, 2003 9:18 PM To: honeypots () securityfocus com Subject: Snort_Inline Linux Toolkit 2.0.1 The mighty fine folks at Snort released an updated version of Snort, ver 2.0.1. As a result, Rob McMillen released an updated version of Snort_Inline so its current with Snort. And finally (if you haven't already guessed) I've updated the Snort_Inline Linux Toolkit. This pre-packaged toolkit has a pre-compiled Linux Snort_Inline binary with reqiured config files, rules, and documentation.
