When I start honeyd on eth0 it works

"doesn't work" is vague. What about it doesn't work? Have you checked
any available log files? Did honeyd print out any error messages to the
console? Have you tried attaching to the honeyd process with strace(1)?

The cardinal rule when reporting bugs:
(1) What you performed.
(2) What you expected.
(3) What actually happened.

Also, what exactly are eth0 and eth1? Are they both ethernet NICs
or is one of them 802.11 or something else? Honeyd doesn't support
many alternative frame types by default and needs patching if you
want to use some interfaces.
