Spamming requires a certain, almost sociopaths sense of entitlement to continue doing.
You have hit the nail precisely on the head. I've been studying spammers for a very, very long time, and I'm firmly convinced that spammers ARE sociopaths. (I'm talking about "career spammers", not the people who do it once out of ignorance or stupidity, not the people who get their mail systems/accounts hijacked, etc.) There's a reason why there are no ex-spammers: they don't stop because they can't stop, nor do they even want to. They might shift modalities (e.g., Spamford bounced between email spam, fax spam, spyware, and other scams) or locations or methods or anything/everything else...but they never stop. ---rsk _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
