Kalamazoo cop, on vacation, with his wife, visits Nose Hill Park in Calgary. He feels threatened that two complete strangers feel free to try and strike up a conversation. Writes a letter to the Calgary Herald saying how threatened he feels since he wasn't allowed to bring his gun. http://www.calgaryherald.com/opinion/letters/Nose+Hill+Park+confrontation+mak es+visitors+feel+unsafe/7050028/story.html It was later confirmed that these threatening strangers were handing out free passes to the Stampede. https://twitter.com/#!/search/%23NoseHillGentlemen?q=%23NoseHillGentlemen More details can be found in at least 13 news stories. http://storify.com/theglobeandmail/wikipedia-blackout-a-thousand-twitter-cries-of- hel-1 ====================== (quote inserted randomly by Pegasus Mailer) rslade () vcn bc ca slade () victoria tc ca rslade () computercrime org Easter is a matter of life and death, not chocolate. victoria.tc.ca/techrev/rms.htm http://www.infosecbc.org/links http://blogs.securiteam.com/index.php/archives/author/p1/ http://twitter.com/rslade _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
