A Web site set up by China’s Ministry of Defense this summer was hit by more than 230 million hacker attacks in its first month of operation, but none of the attacks were successful, state media reported on November 19.
What's a "hacker attack"? Imagine they have a class C (256 addresses), and one hacker decides to port scan the class C, that's 16-million "hacker attacks" right there. And that's just TCP. _______________________________________________ Fun and Misc security discussion for OT posts. https://linuxbox.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/funsec Note: funsec is a public and open mailing list.
