Nah, I just choose to expend my charitable endeavors where I have a
better chance of doing good.

Having had my uncle on my father's side (South Africa), and my aunt on
my mother's side (Nigeria) spend over a decade of each of their lives
there on charitable works, and return with unending stories of how the
powers that be undo all good that charities and aid try to do, mostly
funded by stealing aid and charitable donations, or exacting bribes on
their transport; coupled with what my experiences on the continent, and
those relayed to me by others, in the Army were; I have come to the
conclusion that Africa is a case of throwing good money after bad.

There are plenty of places in our own back yards: Mexico especially,
where money and effort do make a real difference. Myself, and lots of
the SCORE Baja racing community, are very involved in helping education,
development of potable water, and assisting the rule of law there.
