Coke has gotten into the act.  

So far http://cokeurl.com/ doesn't seem to allow users to shorten their own URLs: 
it just seems to be an option for the Coca-Cola company to post shortened URLs 
with their own brand redirector.  What really interested me was down at the 
bottom of the page: they don't seem to be making their own redirector, theirs is 
"Powered by BudURL."

Might it have been better for them to have chosen someone other than Bud?
