ah hell, that's just a light morning swim, stop complaining.

To put this in perspective, especially with fall/winter approaching
in the northern hemisphere: the average person dropped into 50 F water
has a 50-50 chance of being able to swim 50 yards.  Even for skilled
swimmers in superb physical condition, the numbers aren't much better,
and they of course get dramatically worse as the water temperature drops.
