Yawn, I feel sorry for the Georgians, but they seem to have
SMB level
netsec.

What I want to know is, why isn't a mob of freedom loving
Westerners
and Israelis taking out al the websites and IRC channels of
Jihadistan?

Perhaps using the BGP redirect hack so we can get them in
meatspace is
more fun :-)!

Nothing is as cool as a "door knock" that was called by a trace.

To fuel things further?

Here's an interesting blog by Dancho Danchev.
http://blogs.zdnet.com/security/?p=1670

While he gives some interesting information, he also jumps to
conclusions he really can't in every single paragraph.

When defending the Israeli government's Internet, these types of
attacks would be routine. While the possibility of state-sponsored
action can't be completely ruled out it is simply too premature to
tell and although the web sites and the impact on Georgian
Internet
visibility are both clear, as Internet attacks go it is
not yet out
of the ordinary.

Am I missing something?
