James Keown has been found guilty of the slow, poisoning murder of his
31-year-old wife.

A Middlesex Superior Court jury declared the former WRKO (680-AM) employee
guilty of first-degree murder in Woburn this afternoon.

Keown will be sentenced immediately, but the first-degree conviction carries
an automatic sentence of life in prison without parole.

Prosecutors said Keown used his laptop in the summer of 2004 sampling ways
"to kill" a human with ethylene glycol, using the name of Kevin Spacey's
1995 film-noir villain Keyser Soze from "The Usual Suspects."

His wife, however, spent her last hours surfing the Internet for a miracle
means "to live."
