"Finland's police chief says he fears more school shootings as the Nordic country mourns the victims of the second
massacre in less than a year.

Police Commissioner Mikko Paatero says police will increase the monitoring of YouTube and other internet sites where
the gunmen in both shootings posted clips foreshadowing the attacks."

And

"The Internet monitoring unit of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is not capable of engaging in sufficient
surveillance of the Internet on its own.
Most of the time of the NBI’s Internet police is taken up by checking on tipoffs from the public.

The shootings in Kauhajoki sharply increased the number of reports coming in from the public on material depicting
weapons, for instance.
The Ministry of the Interior announced on Wednesday that it would upgrade its monitoring of online content in the
upcoming weeks."

According to Finnish language news there was two workers monitoring Internet 'full time' before this new decision
mentioned.

Reportedly the problem is the filtering system of Finnish police. It prevents access to YouTube etc. with specific
keywords for security reasons :-(

Additionally, several police stations have no access to YouTube etc. at all.
