"The probe follows a report that the popular supermarket had compiled a report stretching to several hundred pages which recorded everything from employees' toilet breaks to their suspected love-affairs. German authorities are investigating allegations that international discount chain store Lidl employed detectives and used cameras to spy on thousands of workers in stores across Germany.
