Hi, Thomas rebukes media for release of personal info http://tinyurl.com/2t3t55 Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas lashed out at the media Tuesday after a TV reporter published an online link to public documents that listed Thomas' home address and the names of his wife and children. On Monday evening, a Channel 12 (KPNX) reporter published the link in a story on azcentral.com, the Web site shared by Channel 12 and The Arizona Republic. The link and the story were removed Tuesday afternoon as soon as Republic editors became aware of Thomas' concerns. Here's one public record Web page with Andrew Thomas's home address, phone number, and email address: http://tinyurl.com/yov8jm This Web site is run by the State of Arizona. Isn't Mr. Thomas's beef then with the State? Ironically, I got to this Web page by first going to Andrew Thomas's own Web page here: http://www.maricopacountyattorney.org/about/bio.html On this page, Andrew gives his wife's name: Ann Estrada Thomas. Using his wife's name I was able to get Mr. Thomas's likely home address at Zabasearch.com: http://tinyurl.com/2fljqm Searching for "4408 NISBET" at Google, I found the State of Arizona Web page. All this took a few minutes. Richard M.
