The title of that article _should_ be "Vilifying p2p: House Panel
Scrutinizes File-Sharing."

It would surprise me if this was just another effort by the
RIAA/MPAA under the guise of "protecting sensitive information"
or whatever the scare tactic de jour is.

In any event, I know the _Japanese_Government_ has had plenty of
problems with p2p (Winny) and the inadvertent loss of sensitive
