The Office of the Privacy Commissioner said Tuesday that Bell Canada, Telus Mobility and Fido did not provide adequate training to staff, allowing a data broker to gain unauthorized access to customers' phone records. The OPC found that Locatecell.com, a U.S.-based data broker that sells telephone records, was able to fool customer service agents into providing customers' confidential information.
