provide *actual* security.

That's what ANY government program is/does, whether it be security or

Providing *actual* security is both (a) too complicated for that agency and

I won't pretend to know how you would know that, but the department
has pulled from so many agencies, and was thrown together so quickly,
that its near impossible to believe their problems are anything other
than bureaucratic overhead and political malaise.

(b) would throw a major harpoon into the Administration's attempts to play
the terror card to justify any actions they want to take.

1) There haven't been any terror attacks in the U.S and a few have been foiled.
2) If it were all security theater #1 would be wrong.
3) If this administration was half as Orwellian and you pretend you
wouldn't be allowed to say so - and I wouldn't be sweating another
Clinton as president.
4) The terror card for this administration isn't nearly as strong as
the oppositions' - or their propaganda. You're an example.
