HOUSTON, Texas (AP) -- Russian computers that control the international
space station's orientation and supply of oxygen and water have failed,
potentially extending the space shuttle's mission -- or cutting it short.

It's been reported that the culprit are computers made by DASA Bremen
(for some values of "made", presumably).

Sabotage is unlikely. Parallel failure smells like a software bug.
I would be surprised if they had software redundancy.
