Chiba Bank admitted on Thursday that customers' personal information, such
as the amount of their savings, was leaked through the Winny file-sharing
software that was installed on an employee's personal computer.

The employee of Chiba Bank installed the Winny software sometime around
2003. Customer information, including savings and loan details for
individual and corporate customers was leaked through his computer at home.
