This post will only add value to corporate security types.  By referring
to this as an intersection between smart users and dumb IT policies, I
was trying to express the following with dry humor:

I think that if a policy (administrative or technical) allows a the use
of thumb drives, users have a way with this product to bypass monitoring
and forensic history of their electronic behavior. The presence of
Anonymizer, a non-IE browser, and hushmail contained on a removeable
media would make it difficult for an investigator to put together a
history of internet browsing, internet history, and email.  

Such historical artifacts are usually required in any kind of law
enforcement or Human Resources action.
