Very good point Richard. That freecreditreport stuff you see on TV, will sign you up for montioring and keep taking 10 dollars out of your bank account. Many states now have laws that get customers the right for at least one free credit report. -Todd

Here's where to get free yearly credit reports from Equifax, Experian, and Transunion: https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp This program was mandated by the FTC. I got my reports last month and Equifax seemed to be the most popular service used by my credit card companies. Experian and Transunion are the other two. Equifax is the correct company to use for credit reports and for monitoring...trust is another thing all together. The question is? Does just using Equifax give you all the information? I have always heard to get reports from all three companies. Sometimes Equifax doesn't have some credit card or lean that Experian might contain. -Todd-----Original Message----- From: funsec-bounces () linuxbox org [mailto:funsec-bounces () linuxbox org] On Behalf Of Tom Van Vleck Sent: Thursday, February 23, 2006 3:54 PM To: FunSec [[List]] Subject: Re: [funsec] Oops: Auditor Loses McAfee Employee Data On Feb 23, 2006, at 7:49 PM, Fergie wrote:Via C|Net News. They offer the customary two years of free Equifax CreditWatch, allI have to do is give a lot of personal info to Equifax.
