I have to agree with Fergie on this,

This has got to be one of the most idiotic things that a company like BP could
possibly do.
The argument that a user could connect to an insecured wireless hotspot is daft.
It is possible to allow a user to use their company laptop to connect to a
unsecured hotspot, but then you secure the comms and limit the fuctionality of
the laptop.

This is blaming daft, do you suppose if you work at BP you get brainwashed into
thinking as part of the collective Jerico Forum?
