As the resident Finn and sal-ammoniac candy eater, let me elaborate a 
little on this. Specifically, discussions which pertained to loan 
applications were surreptitiously recorded. Although Sampo bank has 
asserted that the accompanying recordings were destroyed shortly after a 
loan negotiation took place (in a subsequent supervisor-trainee review), 
the financial information supplied by individuals in such conversations 
can be quite sensitive (and hence the gravity of the public's concern 
when the news broke out).
