Speaking of captchas, I experimented a bit, and saved a few captcha
images, and then ran Omnipage (an OCR program) on the captcha images.
The OCR program had little difficulty decoding the captchas that I
fed it, though I did find that it sometimes wanted to add a spurious
punctuation mark (like a period) at the end.  Net, net - it would
seem that image captchas offer little resistance to a dedicated
hacker.
