All you have to do is look at the crappola propoganda that
comes out of the mouths of the attorneys for the entertainment
industry:

MPAA: Pirated DVDs are the 'New Drug on the Street'
http://fergdawg.blogspot.com/2005/11/mpaa-pirated-dvds-are-new-drug-on.html

What crap.

The latest news, which you can expect the MPAA to latch onto
and use it to continue to treat innocent comsumers like criminals,
is this:

Hollywood Faces Uncertain Economic Outlook?

[snip]

Hollywood faces uncertain prospects for jobs and growth in 2006 due to slowing DVD sales, the loss of local film and
television production and looming labor talks, according to a report issued on Tuesday.

The report from the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. projected that growth in local entertainment industry
jobs would begin to moderate in 2006 after solid growth this year. There are currently about 249,000 people employed in
the entertainment industry in Los Angeles County, the report said.

Whatever. I say tough shit.

When they make better movies, stop ripping off the box-office
consumer, and stop treating innocent consumers like criminals,
then maybe they'll get some sympathy.

In the meantime, they can bite me.

ps. And, oh yeah, don't get me started on the entertaiment
industry pushing through the broadcast flag to control ALL
digital content, including digital radio. You can thank your
elected representatives -- I did. :-/

I believe the phrase from Wayne's World was "and monkeys might fly out of
