It isn't going away, that is all I can tell you.  

You can't focus on any one section too much, because then you are more
likely to overall the other parts. They are all important (network,
access, application, file, physical, human, etc). Questions like this,
only prove that you can easily become too focused.

This sort of view is too granular...they are all part of information
security.  The strongest network security fails in the face of poor
physical security.
