full-disclosure is _Full Disclosure_ attachments and all, it is a forum to disclose things without censor and with that comes some responsibility on the part of the subscribers to be wary of what they receive.

Would it be possible for the list admin to add a filter to block exe
files?

I do not expect people to mail around exe files to a mailinglist and it
would save quite a bit of annoyance.

I agree with you but It is not a good idea to use Windows on a workstation and subscribe to a security mailing list and neither use the admin account right?.

If you are on Unix, that exe cant do anything. You can even prevent a malicious email targeting your email reader.

"Unix is not secure but allows you to apply security efficiently"

ebar.
