You should email both myself and Len for this reason, we can't both be around all the time.
If this has not been discussed on full-disclosure you may want to do that.
This has been discussed numerous times (see the archives), and the net result is that we have no intention of changing it, because like most other aspects of the list you are free to filter/delete/ change what you want to locally with procmail or similar.
