Is putting a murderer in jail too much for you too?
Cause that is the end justifying the means

No, what you are referring to is causality. The end justifying the
means is a turn of phrase that means you have taken morally
questionable actions to effect a specific outcome, usually for the
good. The question then becomes: Do the negative actions of the means
outweigh the positive actions of the outcome.

For example, stealing food to feed my starving family is an example of
the ends justifying the means. Stealing food and getting put in jail
is an example of cause and effect.

Whether or not the ends actually do justify the means is a highly
subjective distinction. Roasting another user over their ethical
judgment is ineffective. Hell, discussion in general is a usually a
waste of time, very few people change their opinions about anything
without an intrinsic drive for self reflection, in which case a stance
is formed through observation and personal experience. Some people
can engage in rational discourse and come away with an enlightened
point of view, but this is highly rare.

Regardless, what this have to do with full disclosure?
