Wierd.
 
It does the same thing on Windows 2K as well.  When you put a zero in front of the field, it somehow changes the octet 
to whatever number you have in the second position times eight.
 
IE. 020  becomes 16;  090 becomes 72.
 
Not sure why it does it.

Obviously if you try the same thing on a *NIX or IOS the "0" is
just ignored.
It seems like the 0 character implies a modification in the IP field..
It`s not a bug of the "ping" command, because it "works" on telnet, ftp...
