However entirely offtopic, this works for me:

1. Locate 'chrome' subdir in your mozilla/phoenix/firebird/whatever
profile

2. Create file 'userContent.css', one might use the example file in the
same dir

3. Add this:

/* Doesn't work for <embed> tags, which are less common than <object>
tags - bug 190970 */
object[classid$=":D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"],
object[codebase*="swflash.cab"]
{ -moz-binding: url("http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~jruderma/flash.xml#obj";); }

Found this somewhere in Bugzilla...one might even use his/her own xml
file and meddle with it, as I did.

HTH. HAND.

Bart

Subject: [Full-disclosure] How to block flash advertisement

Hi,

Browser (e.g. Mozilla) can stop advertisement by "block
graphics" from this
server. But what do you do against those anoying flash ads?

Greetings
Frank
