And if it were to be hosted in The Netherlands, well, the us have already put a law in place in order to invade this country. Of course we'll put up a hell of a fight. We might go as far as to consider throwing wooden shoes at the USMC ;-) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ben Ryan" <ben () bssc edu au> To: <full-disclosure () lists netsys com> Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2003 6:29 PM Subject: Re: [Full-disclosure] Administrivia: Pressured to delete archive entry
We have come under some pressure to delete part of the information from the message disclosing the Kerberos 4 vulnerability recently posted.Pressured by whom? It might be a good idea to move the archives to a server in a country
that has different laws concerning full disclosure.
Say for instance the Netherlands (where the non-US archives of debian
reside)
Even better, how about Sealand? http://www.havenco.com/ http://www.sealandgov.com/ JonNo, better not. It's under the jurisdiction of the only nation responsible enough to house
such
dangerous materials. Sealand would be named as a member of the Axis of Evil. Subsequently, Sealand would be "liberated" from the oppression of it's
current government.
An archive of full-disclosure would pose a 'clear and present danger' to
every
citizen of the world, if not in the safe hands of the United States. Amen. Seriously, many list members would retain their own copy of list messages. Len has done the smart thing, tell us about it - if things get worse,
we'll
post it online ourselves. Remember DeCSS? ;) Thanks for the list, Len. And for keeping information free. -- USA in the global playground: "We asked our parents if we could beat you up, and they said no. But we've decided to do it anyway, because we don't like you. Plus you get those yummy oily cookies for lunch." "But you aren't allowed to use any dirty tricks while I beat you up." _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
