No one but Spain and UK supported it?  Please!  Kuwaitis *celebrated*
the war.  Qatar hosted the Centcom headquarters.  Jordan supported it.
So did Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Australia, Poland, Italy, and a host of
other countries (somewhere around 55 or so.)  The Iraqi exiles in the US
were celebrating in the streets when Sadaam's statue came down.

Kuwait supported the war(s) because A) they wanted Iraq out and B) they
wanted revenge. Qatar wanted the military support which comes along with
hosting a major military base.

Saudia Arabia supported the war by not allowing overflights or entrance to
Iraq from their border? Hardly support in most people's books.

You can ignore the obvious if you want to.  That's your privilege.  Most
*civilized* people think allowing crazed killers to go around blowing up
innocent citizens is an activity that shouldn't be encouraged.

If a man came in to your house, shot your wife and raped your daughter,
what would you do?  Try to understand his hatred for you?  Emphathize
with his poor upbringing and sad situation?  For you family's sake, I
hope not.  Nor should you be blamed for shooting him dead on the spot.

Actually I'd opt for something more along the lines of the movie "Resevoir
Dogs".

But if you shit on the man's lawn, cause him to lose his job, his house, his
car, and his dog, could you not reasonably expect him to want to make some
sort of violent act back against you?

It doesn't make it right, but the vast majority of human beings don't
arbitrarily do things like blow themselves up in crowded buildings, busses,
or marketplaces.

An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure, but it doesn't
make for sexy headlines....

Yet you blame Bush....

Bush, Sharon, the list goes on.

This explains it.. a lot of people in Redmond also believed that the
government was simply out to get Microsoft with regards to the (failed)
anti-trust lawsuits.
