Red Hat is one of the worst distribution of Linux in terms of patches and upgrades. You need to register (OK, it's free) to the Red Hat Network, and dependencies are not handled very well.
Haven't used RedHat in a while, have you? RH has "up2date", just like Debian nas "apt-get update". You can view your patch status on the web from anywhere in the world. Now please!!!! let's not start any OS wars, OK????? -- Paul Schmehl (pauls () utdallas edu) Adjunct Information Security Officer The University of Texas at Dallas http://www.utdallas.edu/~pauls/ AVIEN Founding Member _______________________________________________ Full-Disclosure - We believe in it.
