Saw this on the Drudge report, forwarding .... Confessions of a Dangerous Cyber Reporter. Today, the home of Brian McWilliams, a known hacker in the underground as "bmcw" was raided by the F.B.I in a sting operation aimed at a high profile hacking group called FBH, also known as HFG and World of Hell. Recently this group claimed responisbility for defacing the RIAA website on numerous occasions making them a laughing stock of their industry. This group is famous for their online hacking presence and are famous for their sense of humour and skill in breaking into high profile computer networks. McWilliams was finally tracked down after he was caught accessing the home computers of System Administrators that worked for a high profile ISP. Hidden keyloggers were found on these administrator's home computers with an SMTP engine setup to send e-mail of everything they typed to McWilliam's e-mail account hosted at pc-radio.com. A newly formed group of computer vigilantes named GOBBLES who suspected that "bmcw" was posing as a reporter with the name Brian McWilliams and using his innate hacking knowledge and social engineering tactics to get material for stories he sold to online news agencies, have been said to have intercepted and record these activities that lead his demise. The authorities found over twenty machines at the home of McWilliams and enough material to make Kevin Mitnick shudder. New information has informed us that McWilliams has been hacking and breaking into computer systems since the mid eighties and purposely acts unintelligent only to gain knowledge and skill used with the sole purpose of hacking. When caught, McWilliams was seen at his computer finishing a non fictional piece titled "Art of Deception to the 100th Power. Pi don't equal Pie Bitch." In a statement to the press, McWilliams responded, "King Kong ain't got nothing on me! I am a reporter, I can do whatever I want. I'll write a story to put you away for a long time. " McWilliams then said, "Heh." Heh seems to be a popular term among cyber criminals who participate in constant outwitting sessions hosted by eachother on different channels of chat servers called IRC. Developing...
