One unmoderated list that allows many people to create their own
moderated versions is a good way to filter out spam, while not allowing
Symantec, or any one company, to control the distribution of
information.

For example, if you subscribe to "full-disclosure () immunitysec com" you
can get my personally moderated version of this list, along with my
personally moderated archives, but you still send messages to the fully
unmoderated full-disclosure list.=20

That way anyone can offer a filtered version, but the truth always gets
out.
