So, for historical and technical studies, you could look here: http://www.fwtk.org/ But don't expect it to match up against Sidewinder or Cyberguard or other commercial offerings.
It's me again with my lame child: http://milliways.chance.ru/~ark/soft/openfwtk-snapshot-feb2007-3.tar.gz it is, like, fwtk on steroids: BSD-licensed, includes content inspection and really not that bad, but poorly documented, not that portable (ask me privately for HP-UX porting instructions). Yhe most important feature it lacks ATM is https MITM proxy and ssl/tls tricks in general. But i will do, as i did quit my very time-consuming job in ADVA Technologies. So the project will be moved to Sourceforge and i hope gets a kind of afterlife there ;-) _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () listserv icsalabs com https://listserv.icsalabs.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
