Depends on what direction it's in.  If I'm on a network that belongs 
to someone else (like a company I don't own), then I'm subject to 
whatever they want to do.  As a rabid freedom-of-speecher, I happily 
sold Brigham Young University URL filtering to censor their network - 
it's their house and they *should* be able to do what they like in 
it, regardless of how wise or inane I may think their choices are.

Not being able to host a mail server at my house due to Verisign's 
refusal to provide Identity and AMEY's desire to promote Spam doesn't 
do much for me, though...
