ISA server as network bridge?

Hello list, does anyone know if it is possible to run MS ISA server as sort of a transparent network bridge? The whole point would be to insert the dual-homed ISA server in packetfilter mode between a local subnet and the actual gateway for that subnet: backbone V {Inet} <-[ gateway ] ============= [ ISA FW ] -- <Switch> -- Clients So, what I want the firewall to do is pass packets between the segment on the right and the backbone while analyzing their content on layers 3-5 and blocking them accordingly. Unfortunately, everything to the right of the gateway is on a single subnet. Changing the routing topology, e.g. by inserting an intermediate subnet between the gw and the firewall is not an option. Can this be done with ISA server? If not, which products do support such a configuration? Thanks in advance!
