DMZ Best Practices

Hello All

For the most part I know how to define a DMZ, and the whole slew of things
to be accounted for, but I've now been asked to document a DMZ environment
and its creation

I'm looking for compiling all of the Why's and the How's, a huge task to say
the least.

Does anyone know of any web resources or have some documentation that they'd
be willing to share.  Dependent on my projects outcome, I'd be MORE than
happy to publish the results for others.
