Folks,

We are working on creating a searchable database for all firewall
products. (Regardless of whether they are ICSA Labs certified or
not.) This would include commercial and open source products.

We would like some advice. Beyond the obvious categories for
differentiating products (e.g.. price, OS, number of interfaces,
features, etc.) we would like to know what sort of features such an
online database should/could have to be useful.

The goal of this database is to make the product selection process
easier - regardless of whether you are looking to secure your
corporate network or you home network. Your input would be useful.
Please feel free to reply to me directly. I will compile a summary of
the suggestions received and post it to the list.
