SNMP is your friend :)

Depending upon how much the admins tightened stuff down,
you'll be able to identify gateways by the presence
of certain MIB variables as well as obtain the ARP and
routing tables and interface traffic levels.

If its an official audit/pen-test, you'll be able to
get the SNMP community names.
