Hi, You can either choose to use S/MIME by obtaiining a digital certificate from Verisign (will cost you some $$) or other free public CAs (Addtrust, Thwate). You could also create and store the public/private key pair in a smart card or USB token (Rainbow/Aladdin) for added security. PGP is another way to go, also based on PKI technology (implementation is different but just as strong). PGP commercial packages also include disk encryption. With regards to files/drives encryption you could either go with a high end commercial product like SecureSentryPro from Aliroo (www.aliroo.com) which supports the usage of PKI and smart cards or with a low end but effective program called BestCrypt from www.jetico.com (pre-shared secret). You can also opt to use W2K/XP EFS capability.
