I have to disagree with you about a properly configured firewall letting unwanted traffic into the internal network. First, A firewall is NOT the end all be all. The approach is Layered Security. Why would employees be allowed to run websites from their desktops? Why set up a machine that you know is going to have some type of connection to an external network and not lock it down? Come on, putting a Windows machine on the internet and not locking it up is like leaving your Ferrari running with the doors open in a bad neighborhood. You deserve to have it stolen! Security is only as good as the person administering it. First mistake > Relying solely on a firewall! Just wanted to express a little frustration. _______________________________________________ firewall-wizards mailing list firewall-wizards () nfr com http://list.nfr.com/mailman/listinfo/firewall-wizards
