It looks like you have multiple instances of the Lotus proxy running. The Lotus proxy is a plug, so from the firewall you can stop the custom(plug) proxies and restart them (or reboot but that's a bit drastic) On 4.2 and up this should work. /usr/local/etc/mgmt/rc/S900custom stop /usr/local/etc/mgmt/rc/S900custom start -----Original Message----- From: Shane Morton [mailto:shane () datasecure co za] Sent: Wednesday, September 15, 1999 9:23 AM To: firewall-wizards () nfr net Cc: support () datasecure co za Subject: Lotus Notes and Gauntlet Hi, I wonder if someone can please help. I am trying to configure a lotus notes server using a gauntlet firewall. Unfortunately, I cannot get it working. I keep on getting the following in the logs: Sep 15 10:11:36 checkout lnotes-gw[26796]: Failed to bind port 1352, Address already in use Sep 15 10:11:36 checkout lnotes-gw[26796]: Sleeping for 2 minutes S Any idea why? Is there any detailed information explaining how to configure notes and gauntlet available anywhere? Thanks in advance, Shane Morton
