Thanks for your reply,

Configmaker is nice for new router setups, not for existing router setups,
since it will mess up my existing config.

I've had some useful replies, the program I forgot about was netpartioner,
from Solsoft. please check:

Kind regards,

Johan

Cisco has a tool called configmaker, which includes this as part of its over
all configuration tool; it works with the Firewall Feature set (IOS ver.
11.3 and above). Not sure about PIX.

I haven't used it much, although its useful for diagramming networks; one
thing I'm not sure I like is that it likes you to store the enable passwords
and/or secrets in the program, and I haven't had th chance to investigate
whether these are stored in plain text or not.

http://www.cisco.com/public/sw-center/sw-netmgmt.shtml will take you there,
and you can download it for free.

Hello,

Is there anyone on this list that can direct me to a URL
where I can find
GUI based router setup tools?

I'm looking for a tool (I forgot about the name) that uses a
GUI to create
access-lists for cisco routers. It simply saves it to a
text-file which
you can use to configure(apply) to your cisco router.

Hope someone knows where to find it.

Thanks

Johan
