-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Gauntlet includes McAfee Web Scan in the Firewall. (Remember the question about letting ActiveX content in? Don't decide whether or not ALL ActiveX content should be let in or out --- SCAN IT ON THE WAY IN!!) This is single vendor protection, not "a third party plug in". This is NOT a plug, simply fact I would like to understand what the perspective is from the forum regarding this solution as well as others. BTW, I completely agree with others in the group that a firewall is extremely important for perimeter defense, but if you are worried about packet filtering not being overly trustworthy, why not use stateful inspection AND packet filtering for the appropriate mix of security and speed? Does anyone know how Raptor handles virus scanning? They recommend Finjan's Surfin gate, but that only handles java.
They also recommend using MIMEsweeper (http://www.mimesweeper.com/) by Content Technologies). Joe
