The "Web Publishing Wizard" uses ftp ports. Publishing your web site on
a Front Page Extensions enabled server uses http, https or whatever the
web site uses.

        When posting, or what's the frontpage term, umm, publishing a
web,
        frontpage uses the normal ftp 20/21 combo if I recall correctly.

        As far as the webserver, it can be setup to any port, if I
recall, most
        commonly it's set to 80, 8080, 433<?>...
